Design and Build

iphone xr vs apple iphone 14 plus specs

Apple iPhone XR

The iPhone XR inherits its design cues from the iPhone X and iPhone XS, sporting a familiar look. However, it distinguishes itself with slightly larger bezels, an expanded screen, and an aluminum frame. Notably, it offers a vibrant array of color options, including black as a standard choice for all X-series iPhones.

One standout feature is its IP67 rating, ensuring it can handle submersion in water up to 1 meter deep for a half-hour, making it quite resilient to the elements.

All in all, the iPhone XR boasts a robust and stylish build. Crafted with premium materials, it not only looks good but also stands up to water and dust challenges.

Apple iPhone 14 Plus

In the realm of build and design, the iPhone 14 Plus shines as a testament to quality craftsmanship. The glass back is equally durable and resists scratches, thanks to a cutting-edge nano-crystalline coating that keeps fingerprints and smudges at bay. To add a touch of personal style, the phone’s aluminum frame, crafted to aerospace-grade standards, offers a choice of five distinct finishes, letting you pick the one that matches your taste.

Furthermore, the iPhone 14 Plus proudly meets IP68 standards for water and dust resistance. This means it can confidently withstand submerging water up to 6 meters deep for a half-hour. This blend of durability, scratch resistance, and water resilience elevates it to a top-tier choice in both build and design.

Display

iphone xr vs apple iphone 14 plus specs

Apple iPhone XR

The iPhone XR sports a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 1792 x 828 pixels and a pixel density of 326 ppi. While it’s not an OLED display, it still offers a good viewing experience, bright and sharp enough for most users. It does lack the deep blacks and vibrant colors associated with OLED, but its IPS LCD technology ensures quality visuals.

What sets the iPhone XR’s display apart are its user-friendly features. True Tone adjusts the display’s white balance to match room lighting, reducing eye strain and enhancing natural-looking visuals. Supporting the P3 wide color gamut, it showcases a broader spectrum of colors for more vibrant and lifelike images. The oleophobic coating keeps fingerprints and smudges at bay, while the scratch-resistant glass provides durability, protecting the screen from scratches and damage.

Apple iPhone 14 Plus

The iPhone 14 Plus boasts a remarkable 6.7-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display, offering a crystal-clear resolution of 2778 x 1284 pixels and an impressive pixel density of 457 ppi. This screen supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision content, ensuring vibrant and lifelike visuals. With a peak brightness of 1200 nits, it delivers exceptional clarity even in bright conditions.

Notably, the display’s durability is enhanced by the Ceramic Shield front cover, making it one of the finest screens available in the smartphone market. It’s bright, sharp, and excels in color reproduction, making it a standout feature of the iPhone 14 Plus.

Camera Capabilities

iPhones

Apple iPhone XR

The iPhone XR boasts a single 12MP rear camera with a wide f/1.8 aperture and a pixel pitch of 1.4µm. On top of that, it features a 7MP front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

The rear camera of the iPhone XR is notably impressive, consistently delivering excellent photo quality in a wide range of lighting scenarios. It truly shines when it comes to capturing HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos, ensuring that intricate details are preserved in both well-lit and shadowy areas. However, in low-light conditions, some minor noise may become noticeable.

Turning to the front camera, it proves to be just as dependable, making it an ideal choice for taking selfies and engaging in video calls. It reliably captures sharp and detailed photos, even when faced with less-than-optimal lighting conditions.

Apple iPhone 14 Plus

The camera system of the iPhone 14 Plus is truly remarkable. It stars a 12MP wide-angle primary camera with an impressive 1/1.9-inch sensor. This camera features a fast f/1.5-aperture lens, equivalent to a 24mm lens, ensuring stunning image quality. It has Dual Pixel Autofocus (PDAF) and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for sharp and steady shots. Additionally, there’s a 12MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.4-aperture lens equivalent to 24mm and PDAF for capturing wide-angle shots.

On the front, you’ll find a 12MP TrueDepth selfie camera with autofocus for capturing sharp self-portraits.

What truly sets the iPhone 14 Plus apart from its predecessor, the iPhone 13, are the larger apertures on both the primary and selfie cameras. This design improvement allows more light to flood in, resulting in brighter, more detailed images. Moreover, the iPhone 14 Plus introduces a Photonic engine set to take image quality to new heights.

Battery LifeiPhone XR vs iPhone 14 Plus

Battery capabilities

Apple iPhone XR

The iPhone XR boasts a substantial 2942mAh battery, which is quite impressive in smartphones. This robust battery is tailor-made to ensure most users enjoy a full day of uninterrupted usage.

In Apple’s meticulous testing, the iPhone XR has showcased commendable performance, delivering up to 15 hours of non-stop video playback, an impressive 65 hours of continuous audio playback, and a remarkable 25 hours of talk time on a single charge. However, it’s worth noting that real-life battery life can vary due to various factors, such as screen brightness settings, the apps you’re using, and the strength of your network connection. While these numbers provide an encouraging estimate, your battery experience may differ based on your specific usage habits and the conditions you find yourself in.

Apple iPhone 14 Plus

The iPhone 14 Plus has an impressive 4325mAh battery, making it the largest battery ever seen in an iPhone. This is a significant improvement over the iPhone 13 Pro Max’s 4323mAh battery, promising even longer-lasting battery performance.

In practical, day-to-day use, the iPhone 14 Plus has proven its mettle, boasting exceptional endurance. It can easily power through over 12 hours on a single charge, even when used heavily. This means you can confidently navigate a full day’s worth of activities without fretting about your battery running low. What’s more, the iPhone 14 Plus offers convenient charging options. It supports rapid charging, allowing you to reach a 50% charge in just half an hour with a 20W or higher USB-C charger. Price

Apple has kept the pricing of the iPhone 14 lineup similar to the iPhone 13 lineup. However, in the UK, it is costlier than the last year due to inflation. As we have discussed earlier that due to the introduction of the iPhone 14 Pro (Pro Max), Apple can discontinue iPhone 13 Pro (Pro Max).

The latest iPhone 14 Pro will be available at $999 in the US, while in the UK, its starting price will be £1,099. So due to the launch of new iPhones, the price of last year’s iPhone will fall and will be available at low prices from third-party dealers. If price is the factor for you, then you can grab iPhone 13 Pro as Apple promises to give updates for about 5 to 6 years. However, iPhone 14 Pro offers much more than iPhone 13 Pro.

Design

Dynamic island

As we look from the back, the design is similar: stainless steel body, matte glass, and flat surface with a triple camera. However, as Apple now provides a 48MP primary sensor, which we will discuss in the camera section, it gives more bump to the lenses than iPhone 13 Pro. The main and the most formidable change is in front. Apple had at last broken up with their old notch display (Although just for Pro versions) and has introduced a never seen pill-shaped cutout which they call Dynamic Island.

This Dynamic Island also takes much space but comparatively less than the old notch. It acts like an interactive panel that changes size according to the notification or alert you receive on your iPhone. This pill-shaped cutout includes the front camera and the Face ID scanner, the same as iPhone 13 Pro, in a unique style.

In iPhone 14 lineup, too, you’ll get a lightning port charger with the possibility of changing it to USB from 2023 due to some lawsuits in the EU and the US. Also, there’s no sim tray available now as Apple is focusing on eSims.

Display

iPhone 14 Pro vs iPhone 13 Pro

This time Apple has kept bezels smaller as compared to its previous iPhones. So despite getting the same display size of 6.1″ inches for your iPhone 14 Pro, you will get extra screen space than iPhone 13 Pro. This year iPhone Pro models get the same upgrades given to iPhone 13 Pro models with a new touch. Last year Apple provided a 120 Hz screen to its Pro models, which in iPhone 14 Pro can go up to 1 Hz for better battery performance.

Moreover, in Pro models this year, Apple has introduced the most demanding feature, i.e., Always on Display which looks quite remarkable with the screen that Apple provides. Also, with the support of iOS 16, one can now set up multiple lock screens with their wallpaper, widgets, and more.

Apple has also claimed that its display will go up to the highest 2000 nits of brightness in its 14 Pro models, which is way too high than the 1200 nits highest brightness in Apple iPhone 13 Pro models. It’s impressive as one can use their handset in challenging bright light.

Camera

iPhone 14 Pro vs iPhone 13 Pro

In iPhone 14 Pro vs. Iphone 13 Pro comparison, the next thing to talk about is their camera.

For quite some time, Apple provided its 12 MP camera in iPhones, which now changed with the introduction of a 48 MP camera in the iPhone 14 Pro. As discussed earlier, the camera design of the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro is similar. The only difference seen is the little more bump lenses thanks to the 48 MP camera sensor.

In iPhone 13 Pro, Apple provided three 12 MP cameras, i.e., a wide primary camera sensor to take the best low light pictures and videos by using sensor-shift image stabilization, an ultra-wide camera sensor to take a bigger picture, and one telephoto sensor, which provides 3x optical zoom.

Similarly, in iPhone 14 Pro, Apple has three cameras with a massive change to its primary sensor, which is now a 48 MP camera that will help users take raw 48 MP photos with the use of ProRaw shooting mode. Besides the primary sensor, ultra-wide and telephoto cameras get minor updates despite using the same 12 MP lens. iPhone 14 Pro can now record at 24 fps and 4k in cinematic mode. Regarding the front camera, iPhone 14 Pro has a wider f/1.9 aperture and more enhanced autofocus to get better depth in selfies and improve your conference time.

Performance

No one is prepared for Apple’s most potent processor in its Pro versions. Yes, this year, iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max got the world’s most powerful processor, as claimed by Apple itself. These two models have an A16 Bionic chip which consumes 20% less power than last year’s A15 Bionic chip in iPhone 13 Pro. Only the Pro version in iPhone 14 lineup has enjoyed this power, as the standard models get the A15 Bionic chip used in last year’s iPhone 13 Pro Max. A16 Bionic chip gives a modest boost to the performance and also has an image processor to enhance the camera quality.

The A16 chip, which has a 4-nanometer architecture, has more transistors than the A15 Bionic, which uses a 5-nanometer design. This implies that it is more effective and efficient than its predecessor since it can fit more transistors into the same volume of space.

Apple is switching from slower LPDDR4X RAM to the quicker LPDDR5 standard for the next Pro, even though it supposedly uses 6GB of RAM, much like the iPhone 13 Pro.

Battery Performance

The battery life of the iPhone 13 Pro was noticeably better than that of earlier versions, primarily due to its 3095 mAh battery. Apple has surpassed its battery performance by installing a 3200 mAh battery in iPhone 14 Pro. Now, it seems Apple is focusing on battery life as well. A16 Bionic chip and 1Hz resolution also help contribute to battery life by consuming less power than before. The charging scenario hasn’t changed for the better. Even the fastest charging speeds that Apple offers need you to invest in a more sophisticated 25W charger, and even those won’t be as quick as other brands.

What’s the size of the iPhone 14 Pro?

iPhone 14 Pro comes in the same size as its predecessor iPhone 13 Pro, i.e., 6.1″, while iPhone 14 Pro Max comes in 6.7″ like its predecessor.

Conclusion

By keeping everything in mind, we can say that in our comparison of the iPhone 14 Pro vs. the iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro has more advanced features in terms of camera, battery life, performance, etc. Moreover, Dynamic Island replacing the old notch system has made iPhone 14 more demandable and different from the rest. However, this doesn’t mean that iPhone 13 Pro is now a waste of money. Although, one can invest in iPhone 13 Pro as it has the powerful A15 Bionic chip, which has a lot more to offer, and the user will get updates for another four years now. Also, the iPhone 13 Pro prices will fall, which will make it a great deal.

Description:

This year, Apple has launched its iPhone 14 lineup. In terms of design, display and battery life, iPhone 14 remains the same as its predecessor, iPhone 13. Also, Apple has now introduced Action Mode and Photonic Engine, which will enhance your videography and photography experience, respectively. Also, there is a lot of improvement in terms of brightness as at maximum, the brightness can reach up to 1200 nits which is very good while using the phone in sunlight.

Description:

Apple has made the Pro series incredibly good as we now have many distinctive features to consider when deciding to buy between iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Pro. iPhone 14 Pro comes with a new Dynamic Island, a new pill-shaped cutout instead of the old notch in previous iPhones. Also, Pro models feature a 48MP primary sensor, 12MP ultra-wide sensor and 12MP telephoto sensor. It also offers the latest A16 Bionic chip, which is way faster and more efficient than last year’s A15 Bionic chip. Apart from all distinguishing features, it includes all other features which are in iPhone 14 with just a $200 difference between their pricing. Also, Pro models can go up to 2000 nits brightness which is an excellent upgrade.

Price and Availablity

In this comparison of iPhone 14 vs. iPhone 14 Pro, the first thing to consider before buying one of these is their pricing. Apple has kept the pricing similar to last year’s iPhone 13 lineup. iPhone 14 starts at $799 with the starting variant of 128GB and goes up to 512GB, while iPhone 14 Pro start at $999 with the same starting variant of 128GB which goes up to 1TB variant. As you see, there’s a difference of $200 between these two models, which is worth it as you will get many extra features this time in the Pro model.

Pre-booking has already begun on 9th September for All iPhone 14 models. All models, excluding iPhone 14 Plus, will be available in the store from 16 September. You will be able to see iPhone 14 Plus from October 7 as it won’t be shipped until then.

Design

iPhone 14 vs iPhone 14 Pro

As discussed earlier, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro have approx similar dimensions. But their design is the first area of distinction in our iPhone 14 vs. iPhone 14 Pro comparison. The standard iPhone 14 model looks identical to its predecessor, the iPhone 13, whereas Apple has keenly worked on the design of its Pro versions this time around. The Pro models have many extra features and a newly launched front camera design. iPhone 14 Pro from the back looks like iPhone 13 Pro, but the camera module seems more significant as now Apple is providing a 48MP primary sensor.

Now let’s discuss a significant change in iPhones since the launch of the iPhone X. At last, Apple has said goodbye to the notch. Now, Apple has come with the all-new pill shape front camera design, named “Dynamic Island.” At first glance, it seems pretty cool. This enhanced pill-shaped cutout, or, say, Dynamic Island, beautifully fits between an informative panel and provides notifications and alerts as if being a part of the software. In terms of design, we go with iPhone 14 Pro as it provides a new experience. However, iPhone 14 also has excellent design despite being repetitive.

Display

The next thing to consider in our iPhone 14 vs. iPhone 14 Pro comparison is the Display. While talking about the display, iPhone 14’s display has no change compared to iPhone 13. It has a display size, i.e., 6.1″. iPhone 14 Pro also comes with the same size of 6.1″. However, the iPhone 12 Plus and Pro Max have a larger display size of 6.7″. All models come with Super Retina XDR and an OLED panel with Haptic Touch, True Tone, and HDR support. However, as Apple has more focused on Pro models, they provide a bit extra.

Always on display iPhone 14 Pro

Like last year’s iPhone 13 Pro models, this year’s Pro model also features a Pro Motion refresh rate. However, recent models have a low minimum refresh rate of 1 Hz, which is excellent for saving quick draining of battery. After many years of user feedback, Apple has finally released Always-on Display which shows time and important information when your phone is dormant. However, this feature is specific to Pro models only (which is now on every Android device).

Now, if we discuss the screen resolution, there’s no major difference between the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro. They both seem quite similar with just a margin of difference. iPhone 14’s screen resolution is 2532 x 1170 (460 PPI), while the iPhone 14 Pro’s screen have 2556 x 1179 (460 PPI). This year Apple promises to have brighter displays than ever as its standard models will feature 1200 nits of maximum brightness while the Pro models can go up to 2000 nits of maximum brightness.

Cameras

iPhone 14 vs iPhone 14 Pro

Apple users are always keen on its camera quality, and Apple also keeps them happy by providing them with more than they desire in terms of camera quality. iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus comes with two rear cameras, i.e., one primary wide camera and one ultra-wide camera. iPhone 14 and 14 Plus get a camera similar to that of iPhone 13 with a little wider aperture of f/1.5 instead of f/1.6. So overall, they have a 12MP primary sensor with pixels of 1.9 microns, 1.5 aperture, and, as declared, 49% more low light performance.

While iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max got a massive upgrade in terms of camera.

Pro model camera

Apple now provides a 48MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor with a wide aperture, and a 12MP telephoto sensor in its Pro models. iPhone 14 Pro model users can now click with 3x optical zoom because of its 12MP telephoto lens, which is absent in iPhone 14 and 14 Plus as they don’t feature a telephoto lens. Pro models also feature the ProRes feature, which allows users to click 48MP raw photos.

Apple announced the all-new Action mode, which will feature in all four models. This feature will enhance the ability of video stabilization as Apple promises that users will not require a gimbal to shoot a video from now on. There’s also a newly introduced Photonic Engine in the iPhone 14 lineup, which will use AI to enhance low-light photography. The regular features will include Portrait Mode with Depth Control, Photographic Styles, Night Mode, and Cinematic Mode.

Software

iOS 16

No difference is found in the area of software in all four models of the iPhone 14 lineup. They all run on iOS 16, the most recent Apple operating system version. With iOS 16, one can customize their lock screen and set up multiple ones, like focus mode. One can apply their choice of wallpaper, clock, and widgets to their lock screen. Moreover, now one can edit their sent messages in iMessage, and various other improvements are introduced. So, there’s no distinction in software between iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro.

Battery Life and charging

Apple Battery

Our blog will be incomplete if we will not discuss battery life when reviewing an Apple product. Apple usually doesn’t talk about battery capacities, so there are no exact figures to examine the battery life. However, for its new iPhone range, Apple has said that its standard model, i.e., iPhone 14’s battery, can give up to 20 hours of video playback, while iPhone 14 Pro can give 26 hours of video playback. So there’s a wide gap between these two models’ battery performance. However, the figures can differ when it comes to real-life use.

Last year iPhone 13 Pro Max had an excellent battery performance, and as Apple is focusing on this aspect too, we can assume an excellent battery performance for iPhone 14 lineup too. All four models support 20W fast charging, which, if we believe an official figure, can charge 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes. So in this comparison also iPhone 14 Pro is a pure winner.

Performance

A15 Bionic chip

After the camera, display, and design, this is the area where things differ. Until this year, Apple has provided the same chip in all its models, but they have different thoughts this time. iPhone 14 got the old chip in iPhone 13 Pro last year. So obviously, it has more power than its predecessor, iPhone 13. Apple has installed its A15 bionic chip with a 5-core GPU in iPhone 14. This chip still has much to offer as it is very powerful, and last year, it beat Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip (But not by a considerable margin).

A16 Bionic chip in iPhone 14 Pro

While if you look at iPhone 14 Pro models, Apple has installed its latest and most powerful data chip in them. iPhone 14 Pro models will feature an A16 Bionic chip with Penta core GPU, Hexa core CPU, and 16 core Neural Engine. This was all built on a 4 nm process. So clearly, the Pro models will perform comparatively better than the standard versions.

Conclusion

We can see a significant difference between these two models in our comparison of the iPhone 14 vs. the iPhone 14 Pro. Apple has made minor upgrades to its iPhone 14 as compared to its predecessor, while when it comes to iPhone 14 Pro, Apple has made ample changes in its appearance by providing Dynamic Island performance by installing an A16 Bionic Chip, 48MP primary sensor, etc. It’s like Apple has poured the whole bucket of its updates on the Pro Models. After considering this, we came to pricing, which also doesn’t have that huge gap. There’s only a $200 gap between these two models, which is worth spending if one gets this much of an upgrade. In simple terms, the iPhone 14 Pro is out and out a winner when compared with the iPhone 14 standard model.

Similarities of iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Plus

Several identical features of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Plus are mentioned below.

Resistant to Water, Splash, and Dust

With a potential depth range of 6 meters for up to 30 minutes, the iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 14 Pro have been given the IP68 rating under IEC standard 60529. This indicates that they can spend 30 minutes submerged in fresh water up to a depth of six meters which is 19.7 ft. Additionally, dust resistance is shown by the IP68 certification of the iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 14 Pro.

Thus both iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Plus are splash, water, and dust resistant.

Safety features

  • Emergency SOS

With Emergency SOS, you may easily and quickly call for help and alert your emergency contacts. Emergency SOS via satellite is now accessible thanks to Apple. When Wi-Fi coverage or cellular is unavailable, the system includes specialized components strongly tied with software to permit devices to communicate directly to a satellite. Its goal is to fill the disparities with emergency services.

  • Crash Detection

Apple claims that significant auto accidents involving sedans, SUVs, minivans, pickup trucks, and other passenger vehicles, such as forward, side, and rear-end rollovers or collisions, are detected by crash detection technology.

Your iPhone will sound an alarm when it detects a severe motor vehicle accident, and if you don’t cancel the automatic emergency alert within 20 seconds. The function takes advantage of the high dynamic range accelerometer, microphone, gyroscopes, barometer, and GPS. Using the provided data, the device uses advanced algorithms to establish the timing of a severe auto accident.

However, the iPhone 14 pro and iPhone 14 plus have similar safety features.

Audio Playback

  • Dolby Atmos

Dolby Atmos is a sound method that, among other things, enhances existing surrounding sound systems by adding height tracks, which make sounds appear to be three-dimensional elements. Dolby Atmos is supported by both iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Plus, so if consumers want to increase their entertainment by enhancing the audio quality, they should consider purchasing it.

  • Spatial Audio

Using spatial audio, you can stream three-dimensional sound from compatible media that play on your iPhone or iPad. Spatial audio undoubtedly creates a more interactive experience. It resembles a movie scene in which sounds seem to be arriving from above, in front of, and behind you. If you want music and movies with spatial audio, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Plus have the Audio spatial feature.

Perks: iPhone 14 Pro vs. iPhone 14 Plus

iPhone 14 Pro

iPhone 14 pro

The iPhone 14 Pro is guarded by a scratch-resistant ceramics screen with an oleophobic coating and features MagSafe charging. iPhone 14 pro is IP68 dust and water resistance. It features 4K filming with gyro EIS stabilization, urgent satellite SMS sending or receiving, a 4nm Apple A16 bionic processor, stunning design, and superior build. It also offers impressive camera performance in low light. A top-notch substitute that also has a gorgeous presentation is Dynamic Island.

iPhone 14 Plus

iPhone 14 plus

The iPhone 14 Plus features a recognizable design, a large screen, a long battery life, 7.5W Qi magnetic fast wireless charging, multiple color options, the ability to send or receive emergency satellite SMS messages, NFC, and 5G support, stereo speakers, and 4K video recording with gyro-EIS stabilization. Additionally, it features the most recent iOS 16 OS, an excellent low-light camera, a super Retina XDR OLED screen with Dolby Vision, and scratch-resistant ceramics glass with an oleophobic coating. It also includes front and rear Gorilla Glass and supports IP68 dust/water resistance.

Drawbacks: iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Plus

iPhone 14 Pro

The camera improvements on the iPhone 14 Plus aren’t as significant as Apple promises, it just has a 3x optical zoom, and there is no SIM slot. No USB-C, an aggressive photonic engine, lower battery life compared to last year, no fingerprint sensor, and no fast charging support.

iPhone 14 Plus

The iPhone 14 Plus has the same old chipset, a 60Hz display, no fingerprint reader, no micro-SD card port, limited customization, a big notch on the front, no support for 8K video recording, and a bit of a high price according to specs, a separate charger purchase required, no battery capacity information provided by Apple, and only two cameras.

Layout

iPhone 14 Pro

iPhone 14 pro

Though iPhone 14 pro looks like iPhone 13, it has a fascinating dynamic island design. The Dynamic Island, a new design that delivers an intuitive way to use iPhone, the first-ever 48MP Main camera on an iPhone, and the Always-On display are included on the iPhone 14 Pro.

Users of the iPhone 14 Pro can view messages and recent efforts like playing music, an AirDrop connection, the time, and directions from Maps on the Dynamic Island on the Main Screen or in any app. Every time your iPhone is unlocked, Dynamic Island is displayed.

With this Dynamic Island now included, Apple has modified the TrueDepth selfies to take up less screen area. This adaptive zone can increase, decrease, and alter in size as it communicates information to the user via transitions and animations by using the black space a notch needs rather than attempting to conceal it. For the first time, Apple has a proximity sensor mounted beneath the display.

iPhone 14 Plus

iPhone 14 plus

An Apple iPhone 14 Plus is larger than the entry-level device. Compared to the iPhone from a year ago, there aren’t any significant visual changes. The power switch is on the right of the device’s build, while the volume controls, SIM card slot, and mute switch are on the left. Speakers and a lighting port can be found on the bottom side.

However, while comparing the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Plus design, the iPhone 14 Pro is better designed. Also, it has a fascinating dynamic island feature making it the best.

Camera Specifications

iPhone 14 Pro

The iPhone 14 Pro has a Pro camera system with Main, Ultra Wide, and Telephoto lenses, second-generation sensor-shift optical image stabilization, optical zoom ranges of 3x, 2x, and 6x, digital zoom ranges of up to 15x, dynamic true tone flash, photonic engine, deep fusion, and smart HDR 4 for photos. In addition, it has Apple ProRAW, a night mode, night mode portraiture, photographic styles, and macro photography.

The following six effects are available in the Portrait Lighting on the iPhone 14 Pro:

  • Natural
  • Contour
  • Studio
  • Stage
  • High‑Key Mono
  • Stage Mono

iPhone 14 Plus

The dual 12MP camera system on the iPhone 14 Plus features sensor-shift optical image stabilization, sensor-shift optical zoom, 2x zoom lens, digital zoom up to 5x, proper tone lighting, deep fusion,  photonic engine, smart HDR 4 for photographs, night mode, and photographic styles.

The following six effects are available in the Portrait Lighting on the iPhone 14 Plus:

  • Natural
  • Contour
  • Studio
  • Stage
  • High‑Key Mono
  • Stage Mono

However, comparing the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Plus camera specifications, it is evident that the iPhone 14 Pro has more camera upgrades, though the portrait lighting effects are the same.

Battery Life

iPhone 14 Pro

A rechargeable lithium-ion battery, MagSafe, and Qi charger are all included in the iPhone 14 Pro. The iPhone 14 Pro can be recharged using a computer or power supply via USB. Furthermore, a 20W adapter or higher can provide up to 50% recharge in 30 minutes.

  • Playback of a video:  Till 23 hours
  • streaming video playback Till 20 hours
  • Playback of audio Till 75 hours

iPhone 14 Plus

The iPhone 14 Plus features Qi wireless charging, MagSafe, and an internal lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The iPhone 14 Plus may be charged using a computer or power supply via USB. Furthermore, a 20W converter or higher may charge your device up to 50% in 35 minutes.

  • Playback of a video Till 26 hours
  • Streaming video playback Till 20 hours
  • Playback of an audio Till 100 hours

However, there is no significant difference between battery life and consumption. iPhone 14 Plus has a good battery life as users can use more battery for several hours compared to the iPhone 14 Pro.

Can a 14 Pro be used with a 13 Pro case?

Although imperfect, your iPhone 13 cover will work with the iPhone 14. Even though it will be practical, it won’t look attractive. In addition to the larger camera module, the location of the power and volume keys has changed. You will, without a doubt, require a new case for the iPhone 14 Pro.

Conclusion

After comparing the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Plus, there is no such significant difference between both phones. If the iPhone 14 Pro display is 6.1 inches, the iPhone 14 Plus has 6.7 inches. In the comparison of the battery life and its consumption, there is several hours difference. Both the iPhones are splash, water, and dust resistant; the phones have safety features, such as Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio. The only part which is not identical is the dynamic island, which the iPhone 14 Pro has.

The iPhone 14 Pro is unquestionably the best option if your size doesn’t matter. It offers more excellent value overall, is more powerful, and has a superior display and lens set.

  • Always-on display on 14 Pro
  • Faster A16 Bionic chip
  • Higher-res 48MP main camera
  • Satellite connectivity on the new model
  • Improved photos for low-light

Price & Availability

iPhone 14 Pro Max vs iPhone 13 Pro Max

Starting with the price, there were rumors that the iPhone 14 Pro Max will more than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, Apple launched the iPhone 14 Pro Max with the same price tag as the 13 Pro Max, with a starting price of $1,099. As we all know, with the launch of 14 Pro Max at the same price, the price of 13 Pro Max will go down significantly. Therefore, if you are thinking of buying an iPhone Pro Max variant and are a bit low on budget, then you should consider iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Why is The iPhone 14 Pro Max a Better Deal?

  • Upgraded Bluetooth v5.3 – This upgrade will be really helpful for iPhone users who already have AirPods Or an Apple Watch. Bluetooth 5.3 makes the connection with Bluetooth more stable and long-range compared to the last gen.
  • Faster LPDDR5 RAM – The multitasking will be fluid and without a than of the last gen, with the upgrade of LPDDR5 RAM over LPDDR4 iPhone 13 Pro Max RAM.
  • Bionic A16 Chip – iPhone 14 Pro Max comes with the new A16 chip, which boosts the performance by 22% compared to the last-gen iPhone 13 Pro Max.
  • Faster Core Clock Speed – The new Bionic A15 chip in iPhone 14 Pro Max also offers higher clock speeds in the CPU Core, which significantly lowers the phone heating and boosts its single core performance by 8%.

These are significant upgrades in specs, making the iPhone 14 Pro Max a better deal than the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Design

iPhone 14 Pro Max vs iPhone 13 Pro Max

At first glance from the back, iPhone 14 Pro Max looks the same as the last-gen iPhone 13 Pro Max. The same flat edge sides with a display size of 6.7 inches. Both iPhones have a similar dimension. However, iPhone 14 Pro Max is a bit narrower than iPhone 13 Pro Max; in real life, you won’t notice any difference. However, there’s a tiny difference on paper as the 14 Pro Max dimensions are 160.7 x 77.6 x 7.85 mm compared to 13 Pro Max, which is 160.8 x 78.1 x 7.65 mm. Also, both iPhones have the same weight of 240g.

The new notch – There’s a noticeable difference when you look at the phone from the display side as it packs a new pill-shaped notch that stores the front camera and other sensors. The new notch looks much different and clean compared to the last-gen iPhone 13 Pro Max’s big notch. This new notch is called Dynamic Island by Apple, which highlights the necessary notifications and data with a fluid animation, which, to be honest, looks a lot better.

Colors – Talking about colors, iPhone 14 Pro Max offers four different colors: gold, silver, deep purple, and space black. On the other hand, iPhone 13 Pro Max offers five colors: silver, gold, graphite, alpine green, and sierra blue. Also, both phones have the same contents in the box without the charger.

Display

Resolution and brightness– Regarding the display, both iPhones have the exact 6.7 inches OLED display with similar resolutions. iPhone 13 Pro Max has a resolution of 1284 x 2778 pixels with 458 PPI density which has a peak brightness of 1200 nits.

On the other hand, iPhone 14 Pro Max has a better resolution of 1290 x 2796 pixels with 460 PPI density and a peak brightness of 2000 nits, which is the brightest phone display.

Refresh rate – The iPhone 14 Pro Max also offers a variable refresh rate feature like iPhone 13 Pro Max. However, where the iPhone 13 Pro Max could only go from 120Hz to 10Hz, the new iPhone 14 Pro Max can go from 120Hz to as low as 1Hz. This new adaptable refresh rate helps to save the battery more efficiently in iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Other features: Both phones’ display supports Dolby Vision and has ceramic shield screen protection. The most significant in terms of the display is the Always On Display, which is only available in the new iPhone 14 Pro Max. With the Always On Display, you can show off your lock screen, which is very customizable with the iOS 16 update.

Cameras

  • 1X camera: 48MP on iPhone 14 Pro Max vs 12MP on iPhone 13 Pro Max
  • 0.5X camera: 12MP, f/2.2 on iPhone 14 Pro Max, 12MP, f/1.8 on iPhone 13 Pro Max
  • 3X camera: 12MP, f/2.8 on both iPhones

Sensors – The iPhone 14 Pro Max offers the same sensors in terms of ultra-wide and telephoto. However, it becomes the game changer phone for the primary camera. iPhone 14 Pro Max offers a 48MP sensor compared to the 12MP sensor on iPhone 13 Pro Max. This new sensor helps the iPhone 14 Pro Max take better images. Both iPhones offer the same 12MP ultra-wide and 12 MP telephoto sensor. However, the iPhone 14 Pro Max has a better aperture in ultra-wide sensors than iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Also, Apple promises its new Photonic Engine technology will boost the quality of photos taken in low light with the iPhone 14 Pro Max even more. Sadly, you don’t get the Photogenic Engine Tech in iPhone 13 Pro Max.

New video and capture modes – iPhone 14 Pro Max has a plus point in video recording than iPhone 13 Pro Max. Because it can now capture films in cinematic mode at up to 30 frames per second in 4K HDR, whereas iPhone 13 Pro Max could only do so in 1080p without HDR. The iPhone 14 Pro Max has access to a new Action Mode for filming fast-paced action films.

Thus, on paper, iPhone 14 Pro Max offers the best camera experience compared to iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Specifications & Performance

The new chip

iPhone 14 Pro Max comes with the new A16 Bionic chip compared to last year’s iPhone 13 Pro Max’s A15 Bionic chip. A16 Bionic chip offers the 4nm technology, an upgrade from last year’s 5nm. This enables the A16 to have roughly 16 billion transistors, and it now has more efficient CPU cores. Both iPhones come with 6GB of RAM. However, 14 Pro Max has a plus point as its RAM is LPDDR5 which is faster than 13 Pro Max’s LPDDR4 RAM.

Power, battery

Battery Life is efficient as the A16 Bionic Chip controls the Always On Display very well. Its 1-120Hz refresh rate intelligently preserves power. Also, Apple claims that the A16 consumes 20% less power than the A15 and has 50% greater memory bandwidth than iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Storage

Talking about storage, both iPhones offer the same Storage options, which are 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.

CPU and GPU

Both iPhones’ performances are identical when it comes to gaming and multitasking. However, iPhone 14 Pro Max is more efficient because it also offers faster CPU & GPU clock speeds compared to the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Software & Features

In terms of software, both iPhones run on iOS 16 latest. However, iPhone 14 Pro Max comes with the Dynamic Island notch, which looks clean and can show various activity statuses like music, timer, and notifications. Dynamic isn’t present in iPhone 13 Pro Max.

iPhone 14 Pro Max also offers the new Car Crash Detection feature and SOS emergency services feature, which are absent in iPhone 13 Pro Max. Rather than these handfuls of changes, both phones offer the same software experience.

Battery Life

iPhone 14 Pro Max vs iPhone 13 Pro Max
  • iPhone 14 Pro Max battery size: 4,323 mAh (less than 1% smaller)
  • iPhone 13 Pro Max battery size: 4,352 mAh

Considering battery life, iPhone 13 Pro Max was one of the best battery life iPhones last year. With a 4,352 mAH battery which gives 28 hours of battery life claimed by Apple. This year Apple broke its battery record, making the iPhone 14 Pro Max slightly better than its last-gen iPhone 13 Pro Max.

iPhone 14 Pro Max offers a 4323 mAH battery, which is smaller than the iPhone 13 Pro Max. However, iPhone 14 Pro Max comes with the new A16 Bionic Chip, which efficiently manages battery life. With the variable 1hz-120hz refresh and OLED panel, the iPhone 14 Pro Max offers more battery life compared to iPhone 13 Pro Max. iPhone claims 29 hours of video playback on a single charge in iPhone 14 Pro Max, which is one hour more than 13 Pro Max.

Charging system

There have been no modifications to the charging system. The 14 Pro Max and 13 Pro Max have a maximum charging speed of 27W, which implies a full charge with a suitable charger takes about 2 hours. MagSafe, the magnetic wireless charging technology that provides rates of up to 15W, is supported by both iPhones’ 14 and 13 series.

Can you disable dynamic island?

When using your iPhone 14 Pro Max at launch, there is no option to turn off Dynamic Island. There is no Dynamic Island option in Settings for applications it works with, such as Apple Music or Instagram. Yes, Dynamic Island is constantly active.

Is the iPhone 13 Pro Max waterproof?

The iPhone 13 Pro Max is waterproof. It has an “IP68” classification, which means it is completely dust-proof and can withstand submerging for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 6 meters. It will be alright if you drop your phone in a puddle or a shallow pool or get it wet from the rain.

Conclusion(Should You Buy it Or not)

In conclusion, in the battle of iPhone 14 Pro Max vs. iPhone 13 Pro Max, the 14 Pro max is the winner in terms of specs, performance, and display. The new Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max has become the top flagship iPhone in the market. It offers better features like car crash detection and SOS emergency services for users’ safety. It adds a unique look to the display with the dynamic island notch, which, to be honest, looks quite remarkable compared to last gen iPhone 14 Pro Max. Till last year all Pro Max variants of iPhones were quite the same; the only difference was the size and battery life. However, this time, Apple has set the new bar by including a dynamic island in the display, making the iPhone 14 Pro Max a must phone to experience.

Therefore, in our opinion, if you’re currently using iPhone 13 Pro Max & thinking of upgrading, then you should consider iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, suppose you are just looking for a Pro Model iPhone with a more prominent display and better battery life. In that case, you should consider iPhone 13 Pro Max, as its available for a more reasonable price now.

In that case, you should consider iPhone 13 Pro Max, as its available for a more reasonable price now.

iPhone 14 vs iPhone 14 Pro: Which one to consider?

On September 7th, 2022, Apple launched four models of its iPhone 14, which it has done for many years. Last year Apple launched four models of iPhone 13. This includes iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. However, this year Apple has discontinued its “Mini” models. Despite discontinuing one of the models, Apple has launched four models, introducing the new “Plus” model. This year iPhone 14 includes iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Plus, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. This blog will compare the iPhone 14 vs iPhone 14 Pro.

In simple terms, the iPhone 14 Pro is out and out a winner when compared with the iPhone 14 standard model.

iPhone 14 Rumours: Price, Release Date, Design, Camera, and More!

The iPhone 14 rumors are heating up, and Apple’s new iPhones may represent the most significant changes in years. So far, leaks indicate that the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will have a sleeker new design. Moreover, a faster A16 Bionic chip, a sharper new primary camera, and possibly USB-C.

The regular iPhone 14 lineup may also undergo significant changes. This is because a new 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max is likely to replace the small gradually. View the comparison of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro. and see what might be the most significant differences ever.

Here are rumors about the iPhone 14 series. In addition, why it’s to be one of the most essential Apple products in 2022 and hope to see from the new flagships.

Release date and price

iPhone 14 possible release date and price

According to the most recent leak, rumors the iPhone 14 will be released on September 13, according to insider information. That date appears to be consistent with other rumors and Apple’s general pattern of iPhone launches.

Considering the excitement, the coronavirus pandemic has generated in supply chains. Apple appears to be taking steps to mitigate the risk of long wait times for the iPhone 14 range due to an interruption in production at one of its supply chains.

Pricing is also challenging to predict. However, experts anticipate that the iPhone 14 will cost about the same as iPhone 13. The ordinary iPhone 13 costs $799, and the iPhone 13 Pro costs $999. However, the tiny iPhone 14 could not exist at all. Moreover, we can expect an $899 price tag for the more prominent 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max.

The iPhone 14 Pro could then cost $999, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max could cost $1,099 or more.

The standard iPhone 14 is expected to remain $799, while the new iPhone 14 Max is expected to be $899. However, the iPhone 14 Pro could cost $1,099, a $100 increase over the $999 iPhone 13 Pro. The price of such an iPhone 14 Pro Max could rise to $1,199. This relatively significant price increase would undoubtedly sting the wallet of anyone hoping to obtain a high-end next-generation iPhone 14.

A separate leaker claims that the standard iPhone 14 Pro will cost $1,099. So the Pros may be more expensive this year.

Design

iPhone 14 rumours: design
  • The iPhone 14 will have flat edges. It will look like an iPhone 12 crossed with an iPhone 4. However, those edges could include a mute button and a cluster of rounded buttons for volume central.
  • This will make it more challenging and more robust than previous iPhones.
  • While the back would retain the glass finish but with a satin-like finish.
  •  6.7-inch screen.
  • No notch
  • No rear camera bump
  •  Thicker chassis with no rear camera bump.

iPhone 14 Pro

As per some schematics, the raised camera array on the iPhone 14 Pro is even more extensive. Ming-Chi Kuo claims that a larger module is required to house a 48MP camera. It doesn’t appear likely that the standard iPhone 14 would get a set of cameras smooth with its rear panel.

According to a few rumors, the iPhone 14 will finally kill the display notch. However, it appears that only the iPhone 14 Pro will be notch-free. In addition, a circular webcam cutout and a pill-shaped cutout to house Face ID sensors. It could also have thinner bezels, making the display appear even more significant.

MySmartPrice, like the Pro, obtained CAD renders of the regular iPhone 14. People anticipate that the iPhone 14 Max will have the same design in a 6.7-inch display body.

iPhone 14 Pro Max

In terms of the iPhone 14 Pro Max, a recent leak appears to have a slew of information on what may anticipate from Apple’s most giant next-generation flagship phone. According to reports, Apple will perform a series of nips and tucks to make the larger iPhone a slimmer handset, or at the very least one with as much screen space as possible.

The design changes can be seen in a collection of iPhone 14 mock-ups posted in an Alibaba video shared by the Japanese site Macotakara. Not only can you see the differences between the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro, but it’s also clear that the more powerful camera module on the Pro models will require new cases.

According to one source, there will be Midnight, Starlight, and Product RED color options as usual, with the current blue replaced by a lighter sky blue and a new purple option. However, that leak has since been removed, making it difficult to assess its reliability. Nonetheless, this rendering of the iPhone 14 Pro in purple from artist Souta, shows how this purple hue would look in reality.

iPhone 14 Touch ID

iPhone 14 Touch ID

The return of Touch ID would be one of the most significant differences between the iPhone 14 and its predecessors. Instead of being integrated into a power button, it will allegedly be embedded beneath the iPhone 14’s display, similar to how many fingerprint sensors on the best Android phones are.

However, it’s still unclear whether this is likely. Analyst Ming Chi-Kuo believes that an iPhone with Touch ID or under-display Face ID won’t be available for a few years. This would have been very disappointing, as having an alternative to Face ID is helpful during these mask-wearing times.

However, with iOS 15.4, Apple has enabled Face ID to recognize legitimate users even when wearing a mask. It performs admirably, implying that Apple may have avoided the need for fingerprint-centric biometric data.

Cameras

Cameras

The rumors about the iPhone 14 cameras are getting friendly. Ming-Chi Kuo, an Apple expert, claims that the iPhone 14 Pro version will significantly improve over the iPhone 13’s 12MP camera, a 48MP primary sensor. TrendForce, a Taiwanese research firm, confirms the 48MP prominent camera rumor, implying that megapixels are once again crucial to Apple — at least for the company’s Pro phones.

However, according to a reliable Apple source, the standard iPhone 14 models will retain their 12-megapixel cameras. Only anticipated Pro versions will receive a 48MP primary camera.

Whatever the outcome is, we will cherish a larger primary sensor. But especially interested in a better telephoto lens, as the iPhone lags behind rivals like the Samsung Galaxy S21. If Apple followed the Galaxy S21 Ultra’s lead and added the second telephoto camera with such a 10x optical zoom, that would be awesome.

According to rumors of one Apple patent, Apple is working on a periscope-style zoom camera that might reach the iPhone 14 or at very least the Pro models. A periscope camera, according to Ming-Chi Kuo, won’t be offered till the iPhone 15 in 2023, he says.

Another iPhone 14 camera tip from Kuo involves the front camera. The iPhone 14’s front-facing camera features to get autofocus as well as a wider aperture. Autofocus must improve the sharpness of FaceTime calls, and the larger lens will help with low-light selfies. The improvements to the front camera will indeed apply to all iPhone 14 models, not just the Pro models.

Specs, Battery life, and Charging

Specs, Battery life and Charging

The iPhone 14 rumors include a TSMC 4nm chip. This would be even simpler and more efficient than the 5nm A15 Bionic scheduled for the iPhone 13. However, according to a recent report, TSMC has difficulty producing more minor chips. It means the iPhone 14 may stick with a 5nm chipset. If so, it will be because the first time an iPhone has gone three years with the same system-on-chip.

According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo

Apple may limit the new A16 Bionic chip to the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. The standard iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will come with the current A15 Bionic processor. That would be a significant surprise, but the A15 is likely to remain the fastest chip in a phone for some time.

Another report, citing insiders, claims that

iPhone 14 will use the same version of the A15 Bionic chipset that powers this year’s iPhone 13 Pro models. According to teardowns, that chip has 6GB of RAM, whereas the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini have 4GB of RAM. So that would be a sort of upgrade, but perhaps not the one we’d expect; again, take this with a grain of salt.

As per Jeff Pu’s independent analyst note

iPhone 14 and 14 Max will start with 64GB of storage, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max will start with 256GB. The latter is plausible, but not the former because that would be half the storage capacity of the standard iPhone 13.

According to GlobalDate analyst Emma Mohr-McClune

Apple may also release an eSIM-only variant of the iPhone 14. The move would increase the iPhone’s appeal among users who require dual SIM capabilities, such as business and international travelers.

iPhone 14 USB-C

Dropping the Lightning port in favor of USB-C has been persistent for multiple iPhone generations, and for a time, it appeared that this would be the case with the iPhone 14. Multiple leaks claimed that the iPhone 14 Pro would include USB-C, and it would seem logical that the standard iPhone 14 would do the same.

Unfortunately, the 1 is likely to join the list of Apple devices rumored to switch to USB-C only to stick with Lightning. According to ApplePro, USB-C will not be included with the iPhone 14 Pro models, with Apple opting for an upgraded version of Lightning with USB 3.0-like data transfer speeds.

Ming-Chi Kuo now claims that a USB-C iPhone will release in late 2023. In other words, the iPhone 15 may get USB-C, but the iPhone 14 will not if he is correct. According to Bloomberg, 2023 is the year for USB-C and the iPhone, with Apple testing devices and a new charger in preparation for the iPhone 15 launch next year.

iPhone 14 Software Rumours

iPhone 14: Software

If Apple follows the pattern it has followed for the past decade, the iPhone 14 will arrive in the fall with a new version of Apple’s iOS software. Since we’re currently running iOS 15, the next version will almost certainly be iOS 16.

Users haven’t heard anything about Apple’s planned software updates for iOS 16 until the company’s annual developer conference in June. Apple’s already been quite busy on the software front, with iOS 15.2 bringing several changes to the iPhone in December.

iPhone 14 color rumors

iPhone 14 color rumors

When the Pro models are expected to gain a 48MP primary camera and a new A16 CPU, and an iPhone 14 Max model might bring a more inexpensive 6.7-inch device to Apple’s lineup, iPhone 14 colors won’t be the major highlight of Apple’s new phones. But when the new phones are released later this year, they will influence how users initially perceive them.

Some Chinese social networking sites further anticipated that Apple would change the deep blue color of the iPhone 13 to a lighter shade of blue. Not only the iPhone 14 needs to be given a purple facelift. According to the same speculation, the iPhone 14 Pro will likely offer a purple color option in a darker matte tone to match Apple’s Pro handset design.

The current state of the iPhone 14 color rumors, the purple option being the most significant modification. The article also includes the current iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 sections’ color possibilities, which are black, white, blue, and [Product] Red. (Take note that Apple now refers to its black and white smartphones as “Midnight” and “Starlight,” respectively.) This time, the pink and green colors would not be used.

In terms of the claimed color options again for iPhone 14 Pro & iPhone 14 Pro Max, the new purple shade would join silver, gold, and graphite. The Alpine Green and Sierra Blue colors have been offered because the iPhone 13 Pro’s spring introduction would be eliminated from the range.

iPhone 14 processor rumor

According to the latest claim, the A15 Bionic technology, which powers the whole iPhone 13 series, will power the two less expensive models. The iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Max are two of these devices. According to the source, “unlike earlier offers, the Pro series uses just the most recent processors.” This means that Apple’s next-generation A16 Bionic chip, which is likely to have a minor boost over the predecessor, would power the Pro models, which include the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

According to reports, the A15 Bionic CPU in the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will have greater RAM and GPU power than the iPhone 13. This hardware choice was probably made because of widespread supply chain constraints in the industry, which made it difficult for Apple to deliver lower-end models with newer chips.

Conclusion

According to iPhone 14 rumors, the series will be available as the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. An iPhone 14 Mini won’t be released alongside it by Apple. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said the iPhone 14 Pro models will have WiFi 6E connectivity. AS per Kuo, WiFi 6E will provide the high-speed wireless transmissions required for is anticipated to be employed inside the mixed reality headset for AR and VR activities, which could be released in 2022. According to reports, the 2022 iPhones will have a hole-punch instead of a notch, significant changes to the camera, a new chassis design, satellite connectivity, and a few other changes that might intrigue you hunt for your next phone.
